On Our Own

I was listening to a radio talkshow and one of the people who phoned in said that the American people should not be supporting the war in Libya because if the worst happened and the American people were so dissaffected by their government that they rose up and tried to change things like Egypt,Libya,Tunisia,Bahrain and now Syria, would the UN intrvene to help them. The answer to that is a resounding NO!!! The point I'm trying to make is that the same goes for the UK. No one would protect us from an autocratic government. The website i heard it on is www.infowars.com A very informative and educational site.

WHY

Why oh why did Gordon Brown give complete control of the country's finances to the bank of england? It only took them and the rest of their HBOS, RBS, Lloyds, and so on criminals (allegedly) to bring the country to it's knees. Greed, that's what it was. They ALL had their little piggy snouts in the trough. Did Cameron plan to change it? NO because it won him an election, all be it with the help of his lib dem lapdogs. To answer the first question, HE WAS TOLD TO give up governmental control. The collapse was deliberately caused by the globalist minority who in effect, RULE US ALL.
Why are Camerons cuts hurting the most vulnerable in our society? Because him and all of his piglets DON'T CARE. They don't care for anyone but themselves. We are just cannon fodder to them. I have more to say but I'm too angry at the moment, I would probably start preaching revolution if i continued. It couldn't come to that could it?

Election

This is a post encouraging everyone to use their vote in the forthcoming Scottish elections.
This is also a post encouraging everyone living in Scotland to NOT vote in any westminster elections. Just imagine the confusion that would cause. At the moment, any vote cast in Scotland helps the tory slaves of multinational globalist companies remain in power. The effect of nobody voting here in Scotland would make them sit up and take notice. The Scottish parliament would have a case for taking over ALL the day to day running of the country. We have the power to effect change in this country. We only have to stand up and be counted. We must at least try and stand up to these faceless so called businessmen and let them know that we know what they are up to and we are prepared to fight them and BEAT them.

Get Us Out

An open letter to he British government.
Get us out of this illegal war in Libya. We have no right to be bombing innocent civilians. We have no right to be trying to instigate a regime change. This is all being done for one reason and one reason only. Our big business masters want access to Libya's oil. They don't give a toss for civilians, in fact, the more that are killed, the better they like it. There is a distinct possibility that an invasion has already been planned and all it will take is for two or three American or British planes to be shot down. If that doesn't happen, we will be told lies to the effect that it has happened. I am not a Qaddafi sympathiser but he might just be the lesser of the two evils. I fear for the safety of our troops if it comes to that.
Also, get us out of Afghanistan. It is not a war we can win and it has cost too many lives already, both allied and civilian.
More to come. I'm only getting started.

Regrets

I was listening to the radio this morning and the DJ was talking about rock stars who are still alive, but should really be dead. He mentioned Ozzy Osbourne who was interviewed a while back. Ozzy was asked if he had any regrets about his life and he replied," no,I don't regret anything."
I don't buy that for one minute. Surely anyone who has lived their life the way he has, must have regrets. I could fill a book with my personal regrets.
I have to say that 99% of people who say that they have no regrets, are not being honest. Just my personal opinion.
It's the 5th August 2021 and I'm reading old posts. This post stood out as one for a complete rethink. Whilst I believed what I wrote then, I have had a complete reversal of opinion. I have since faced and come to terms with most of my regrets. I now understand what Ozzy Osbourne was getting at. Everything that has happened in his life has led him to where he is now. He seems far more content and happy in his life. I can relate to that but whilst I still have one or two issues to deal with, I also am in a good place in my life.
Opinions change and thankfully, the original one has changed for the better.
Till next time.

Priorities

I watched a video on youtube yesterday of a debate on the accuracy of the gospels between Prof. Bart Ehrman and Dr. Craig Evans. The jist of the debate was the numerous inaccuracies that occurred in the gospels. I completely agree that there are indeed numerous inaccuracies, BUT and this is a big BUT, to paraphrase a well known British comedy team. Surely the MESSAGE that Jesus brought to us remains EXACTLY the same despite the differences between the gospels.
I sometimes think that it is the differences in the gospels that make them so interesting to read, and I include the non-canonical books as well. It is the diversity of the christian writings that make it such an absorbing religion.
I write this as a sort of prodigal son returning to his home, although I have not yet managed to choose what branch of the christian tree I will return to. I may never decide and just be a solitary practitioner. Only time will tell.

Connections

The more I delve into the world of religion, the more confused I become. The connections between the various strands of Christianity should be a positive link between them all. Instead, they bicker and squabble about when Easter should be celebrated and even if it should be celebrated at all.
Christianity and Paganism have lots in common with regard to conflict, the Wiccans believe in one set of deities, Norse in another and the Druids yet more.
The connections between Christianity and Paganism beggars belief. "A messiah, born of a virgin, visited by Magi/Wise men etc. Gifts, miracles. The very fact that the major Christian festivals fall either in or close to the major Pagan ones should tell us something about what is original thinking and what is not.
Whether all this makes sense, I don't know. There will definately be more confused ramblings in the future.
